Otaku News Weekly Recap: April 5, 2021 – April 11, 2021
The official Twitter account for the Edens Zero anime, @EDENSZERO_PJ, confirmed the anime will be available on Netflix outside of Japan this fall. The anime already premiered on NTV and other channels on April 10. It also premiered streaming on Netflix and Hulu in Japan and will stream on other streaming services a week later.
The Saudi Arabian media company Manga Productions and Toei Animation's animated collaboration film The Journey (Journey: Taiko Arabia Hantо̄ de no Kiseki to Tatakai no Monogatari, or Journey: A Tale of Miracles and Battles on the Ancient Arabian Peninsula) launched its official website. It reveals the film’s premiere in Japan will be on June 25, and there is a poster visual.
The official website for The World Ends with You the Animation (Subarashiki Kono Sekai The Animation), based on the game of the same name, announced the anime will change its opening theme song "TEENAGE CITY RIOT" by the band ALI, because Sony Music Labels reported the drummer of the band, Kahadio (real name Kadio Shirai), was arrested on alleged special fraud charges where Kahadio received cash from ATMs as part of a scam operation.
